The eco7 swimming pool heat pumps are designed for domestic use between April and October but they can be used for longer seasons as they come with a completely automated reverse cycle defrost system. Please note that at a lower temperature the COP will be reduced. This will need to be taken in to consideration when sizing your heat pump. In order to achieve a satisfactory performance a minimum ambient air temperature of 10°C is recommended. The swimming pool heat pump works similar to conventional Oil, or Gas Boilers but is over 500% efficient. Depending on the time of year the operating costs can be as low as £2.00 per day.
